He received his bachelor degree at Zhejiang University in 1999 and Ph.D degree in 2004. He had worked in Japan, Germany and USA for 5 years. His research field is silicon materials and related devices. He has published 150 SCI papers about the formation, control and utilization of defects in silicon on the professional journals. Based on the results, he has won National Natural Science Award (second prize) for once, Provincial Science and Technology Award (first prize) for three times and National Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation Nomination Award. He has published 150 SCI papers and obtained 30 national licensed invention patents, in which some have already been applied in the industry. At present, he is one member of Physical and Chemical Analysis Technology Committee of China Electronic Materials Industry Association, one member of China Renewable Energy Association Photovoltaic committee and the associate editor of Silicon, which is a professional journal of Springer-Nature Publisher.
