Tetsuyuki Ishii

Central Research Institute of Electric Power Industry
Research Scientist

Tetsuyuki Ishii received the Ph.D. degree from the University of Tokyo, Tokyo, Japan, in 2008, where he studied earth and planetary science, in particular, the existence of liquid water on Today’s Mars. From 2008 until 2014, he was a postdoctoral fellow and researcher with the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST), Ibaraki, Japan, working on indoor and outdoor characterization including long-term reliability of crystalline silicon and thin-film photovoltaic modules. Since 2014, he has been a research scientist with the Central Research Institute of Electric Power Industry (CRIEPI), Yokosuka, Japan, where he has been investigated long-term reliability of from modules to mega solar systems. His main research interest is the effective utilization of electric power supplied from mega solar systems in electric grids.
